History

The research into the History and Culture of the Gowda Saraswath Brahmins has been very vast and exhaustive. Dr.V.N.Kudva, Dr.S.N.Katre, Mr.D.N.Katre and Mr. S.S.Talmakki have conducted extensive research into the History and Culture of the Saraswaths and have published various books and articles. We will not be doing justice to the subject by giving a very short essay on this very vast subject. The advisory committee conducted a lengthy survey of existing Konkani sites which present very interesting insight into the subject. It will not be prudent for us to repeat those articles in our website. Instead we take it as our pleasure to offer links to those sites.
